Have You Thought About Becoming a Catholic?
Christian Initiation, more popularly known as RCIA, is the process by which non-Catholic adults can learn about the Catholic faith and become members of the Church. It is also designed for baptized Catholics who have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation or who would like to update their faith.
The pastoral RCIA program is headed by our parish priests and deacon, assisted by a team of lay parishioners. The RCIA team presents the sessions and guides those who wish to study our faith or deepen their relationship with God
RCIA is the very lifeline of the Catholic Church. Yearly, thousands of new members are added worldwide through this process. The sessions are designed to teach the essential beliefs of the Catholic faith. We also concentrate on building strong community by having our team, priests and deacon interact directly.
The RCIA Journey of Faith includes these four steps:
| 1. |
Inquiry |
Getting Acquainted. |
| 2. |
Catechumenate |
Making a Decision. |
| 3. |
Purification and Enlightenment |
Deepening the Commitment from Ashes to Easter. |
| 4. |
Mystagogia |
Celebrating the Gift. |
Everyone is called!
Everyone is Welcome!
